Skin Booster in Delhi

Skin Booster in Delhi

There is a particular kind of skin that no cream fixes. It is not lined, exactly. It is not sagging. It simply looks tired — flat, a little dull, slightly crepey under the eyes, without the light-catching quality it had ten years ago. People describe it as their skin having lost its bounce, and they are more right than they know. What has actually been lost is hydration held deep inside the dermis, and the collagen and elastin scaffold that holds it there. Moisturiser cannot reach that layer. It was never designed to.

Skin boosters can. They are injectable treatments placed directly into the dermis, where they hydrate from within, stimulate your own collagen, and — depending on which one is used — actively repair the skin at a cellular level. They do not add volume. They do not change your shape. They change the quality of your skin, which is a different and often more valuable thing.

At Sarayu Clinics in Greater Kailash, skin booster treatments are planned and administered by facial plastic and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Adarsh Tripathi. The starting point is always the same question, and it is the one almost no clinic asks out loud: which kind of booster does your skin actually need? Because ‘skin booster’ is not a product. It is a category containing at least three completely different classes of treatment, and choosing between them properly is most of the job.

The short answer : Skin boosters are injectable treatments delivered into the dermis to improve skin quality — hydration, elasticity, texture and glow — rather than to add volume or change facial shape. There are three distinct families: HYDRATORS (Restylane Vital, JuvedermVolite, Belotero Revive) which use hyaluronic acid to draw and hold water in the skin; BIO-REMODELLERS (Profhilo) which use a high-concentration hybrid HA that spreads through tissue and stimulates collagen and elastin, giving mild firming; and REGENERATORS (Rejuran, Plinest, and other polynucleotide or PDRN products) which repair skin at a cellular level and are the strongest option for texture and early scarring. Most protocols need 2–3 sessions, three to four weeks apart, with results lasting 6–9 months. Downtime is minimal. Delhi cost: Rs 8,000–55,000 per session depending on the product. Important: skin boosters are NOT dermal fillers, and Sculptra — sometimes wrongly listed as a booster — is a volumiser, not a skin-quality treatment.

The Three Kinds of Skin Booster (And Why Nobody Tells You)

Search ‘skin booster in Delhi’ and you will find a dozen clinics listing Profhilo, Restylane Vital, Volite, Rejuran and Sunekos in a single row, as if they were flavours of the same thing. They are not. They work by fundamentally different biological mechanisms, suit different skin, and produce different results. Here is the map that should exist everywhere and currently exists nowhere.

Family

What it is

How it works

Best for

Typical protocol

Hydrators

Non-crosslinked or lightly crosslinked hyaluronic acid. Restylane Vital / Vital Light, JuvedermVolite, Belotero Revive.

Micro-droplets of HA placed in the dermis pull water in and hold it there. Deep, lasting hydration.

Dull, dehydrated skin. Fine lines from dryness. First-timers. Under-eyes.

2–3 sessions, 3–4 weeks apart

Bio-remodellers

High-concentration hybrid HA (Profhilo uses a Hybrid Cooperative Complex).

Spreads through tissue rather than staying at the injection point. Hydrates AND stimulates collagen and elastin — giving mild firming as well as glow.

Skin laxity with dullness. Ages 35–55. Jawline, neck, face.

2 sessions, 4 weeks apart, then 6-monthly

Regenerators

Polynucleotides / PDRN. Rejuran, Plinest, Nucleoskin. Derived from salmon DNA.

Repairs skin at a cellular level, reduces inflammation, drives genuine tissue regeneration and collagen synthesis.

Texture, fine lines, early acne scarring, damaged or over-treated skin.

3–4 sessions, 3–4 weeks apart

(Nutrient cocktails)

Vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants. NCTF 135HA, mesotherapy blends.

Nourishes rather than structurally changes. A supporting act, not a lead.

Dullness, pollution damage, adjunct to the above.

4–6 sessions

A correction worth making: Sculptra is not a skin booster : You will find Sculptra listed as a ‘collagen-stimulating skin booster’ on more than one Delhi clinic website. This is wrong, and the distinction matters. Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) is a volumising biostimulator — it is placed deeper, builds collagen to restore lost facial volume over months, and changes your facial contour. Skin boosters are placed superficially in the dermis and change skin quality without altering shape. If you want your cheeks restored, Sculptra may be right for you. If you want your skin to look hydrated and healthy, it is not what you are looking for. Being sold one when you asked for the other is a meaningful mistake.

Skin Booster vs Dermal Filler vs Biostimulator

These three get confused constantly, including by clinics. The difference is simple once you see it laid out:

Skin booster

Dermal filler

Biostimulator (Sculptra, Radiesse)

What it changes

Skin quality — hydration, texture, glow

Facial shape and volume

Facial volume, gradually

Where it goes

Superficially, into the dermis

Deeper, into fat pads or onto bone

Deep, subdermal

Immediate result?

No — builds over weeks

Yes — visible immediately

No — builds over months

Adds volume?

Typical use

Dull, dehydrated, crepey skin

Cheeks, lips, jawline, chin

Broad facial volume loss

Lasts

Up to 2 years

If your concern is a flatter cheek or a weaker jawline, you want dermal fillers, not a booster. If your concern is that your skin itself looks tired regardless of its shape, a booster is exactly the right tool. Many patients need both, in which case the sequencing matters — and we will plan it rather than sell both at once.

Profhilo Treatment in Delhi

Profhilo is the most-searched skin booster brand in Delhi, and it deserves its reputation — but for reasons that are usually described imprecisely. It is not simply a strong hydrator. It is an ultra-pure, high-concentration hyaluronic acid manufactured without chemical cross-linking agents, using a hybrid cooperative complex of high and low molecular weight HA. Two properties follow from that.

  • It spreads. Unlike a filler, which stays where it is placed, Profhilo diffuses through the tissue from a small number of injection points — typically five per side of the face, the so-called BAP technique. This is why it treats an entire region rather than a spot.
  • It remodels. As it slowly releases, it stimulates four types of collagen and elastin production. The result is not only hydration but a genuine, if modest, improvement in skin firmness and laxity.

The standard protocol is two sessions, four weeks apart, with results developing over the following two months and lasting six to nine months. It suits patients from roughly the mid-thirties onward whose primary concern is skin that has become both dull and slightly lax — particularly across the cheeks, jawline and neck. It will not lift significant sagging, and any clinic implying otherwise is overselling. For true tissue descent, the honest answer is a surgical option.

Polynucleotide (Rejuran) Skin Boosters in Delhi

Polynucleotide boosters — Rejuran, Plinest, Nucleoskin and similar products — are the most interesting development in this category and the least well explained. Rather than simply hydrating, they deliver fragments of DNA (polydeoxyribonucleotide, or PDRN) into the dermis, where they act as signalling molecules: reducing inflammation, promoting fibroblast activity, and driving genuine tissue repair. They are the strongest booster option for texture, fine lines, early acne scarring, and skin that has been damaged or over-treated.

Results build more slowly than a hydrator — typically visible from four to eight weeks — and the standard course is three to four sessions spaced three to four weeks apart. There is usually slightly more downtime: small raised bumps at injection points that settle within a day or two, and occasional bruising.

Something no other Delhi clinic will tell you: Rejuran is derived from salmon DNA

The polynucleotides in Rejuran and most comparable products are extracted from salmon sperm DNA — chosen because its molecular structure is remarkably similar to human DNA, which is what makes it biocompatible. The product is highly purified, and protein content is reduced to negligible levels precisely to minimise allergic reaction. But the fact remains that it is an animal-derived, fish-based injectable. For a great many patients in Delhi — vegetarian, Jain, or observant of dietary or religious restrictions — this is material information that ought to be offered before treatment, not discovered afterwards. We tell every patient the origin of every product we inject. If a fish-derived product is not right for you, we will say so and recommend a hyaluronic-acid-based alternative, which for many concerns performs comparably. Patients with a known fish or shellfish allergy should not receive polynucleotide boosters at all.

Benefits of Skin Boosters

  • Hydration that a moisturiser physically cannot deliver — topical products work on the outermost layer of the epidermis and evaporate within hours. Boosters place hyaluronic acid inside the dermis, where it holds water for months.
  • Real collagen stimulation — bio-remodellers and regenerators do not just add moisture; they prompt your own skin to rebuild its scaffold.
  • No change to your face — this is the key appeal for patients wary of injectables. Nothing about your shape, proportions or expression alters. Your skin simply looks better.
  • Refined texture and smaller-looking pores — as the dermis plumps, the skin surface smooths and pore openings appear tighter.
  • Improved fine lines from dehydration — the crepey lines under the eyes and across the cheeks that appear when skin is dry often soften substantially.
  • Excellent for areas that age badly and are hard to treat — the neck, décolletage and back of the hands respond well to boosters and poorly to almost everything else.
  • Minimal downtime — small bumps at injection points settle within hours to a day. Most patients return to work the same day.
  • Safe across all skin types — boosters do not target melanin, so they carry no meaningful pigmentation risk in Indian Fitzpatrick IV–V skin. This is a genuine advantage over laser-based glow treatments.

Areas We Treat

  • Full face — cheeks, forehead, perioral area
  • Under-eyes and periorbital skin (crepiness and fine lines)
  • Neck — one of the most rewarding booster areas
  • Décolletage and upper chest (sun-damaged, crepey skin)
  • Back of the hands (where ageing shows early and treatment options are few)
  • Jawline and lower face (bio-remodellers, for mild laxity)
  • Upper arms and inner arms (selected cases)
  • Post-acne skin with textural change (polynucleotide boosters specifically)

Conditions & Concerns Skin Boosters Treat

  • Dull, dehydrated, lacklustre skin — the flat, light-absorbing quality that no highlighter fixes.
  • Crepey skin — particularly under the eyes, on the neck and on the hands.
  • Fine lines caused by dehydration rather than muscle movement — these respond to boosters where Botox would be the wrong tool entirely.
  • Mild skin laxity — bio-remodellers give modest firming; anything beyond mild needs a different conversation.
  • Uneven texture and enlarged-looking pores — polynucleotides in particular refine surface texture.
  • Early atrophic acne scarring — regenerator boosters improve mild textural scarring, often alongside microneedling.
  • Skin damaged by pollution, sun or over-treatment — Delhi’s air quality is a genuine dermatological factor, and polynucleotides are the strongest repair option available by injection.
  • Skin preparation before an event — with realistic timing: boosters need weeks, not days. Start three months out, not three weeks.

The Procedure: Step by Step

  1. Skin assessment and product selection. Tripathi assesses your skin quality, hydration, elasticity and texture, and identifies which of the three booster families your skin actually needs. Your dietary, religious and allergy history is taken — relevant for polynucleotide products specifically.
  2. An honest conversation about what a booster will and will not do. If what you actually want is volume or a lift, we will tell you that a booster is the wrong treatment before you pay for it.
  3. Topical anaesthetic cream applied for 20–30 minutes. Several boosters do not contain lidocaine, so this step matters more than it does for fillers.
  4. Technique depends on the product. Profhilo uses five precise bio-aesthetic points per side. Hydrators are placed as a fine grid of micro-droplets across the treatment area. Polynucleotides are delivered as multiple superficial micro-injections. A cannula may be used in the under-eye area for safety and comfort.
  5. Immediate aftercare. Cool compress; small bumps are visible and entirely expected. You leave with written instructions.
  6. The course. 2–4 sessions depending on product, spaced three to four weeks apart, with photographs at each visit under standardised lighting.
  7. Maintenance. A single session every six to nine months holds the result. Boosters are a maintenance treatment, and we say so plainly

Downtime & Aftercare

  • Immediately after: small raised bumps at each injection point. These are the product itself and are supposed to be there. They settle within a few hours to 24 hours — for Profhilo, typically overnight.
  • First 24 hours: do not massage or rub the treated area. No makeup for 12 hours where possible.
  • First 48 hours: no strenuous exercise, saunas, steam or hot yoga. No alcohol on the day of treatment.
  • Bruising: occasional small bruises at injection points, more common with polynucleotides and in the under-eye area. Usually settles within 3–5 days.
  • Sun protection: SPF 50+ daily. Not because boosters cause sensitivity, but because UV degrades the collagen you are paying to build.
  • Return to work: most patients the same day. If you have an important event, allow 48 hours.

Skin Booster Cost in Delhi

Cost varies substantially by product family, because the products themselves differ enormously in manufacturing cost. Verified Delhi ranges:

Neck or décolletage (add-on)

Rs 15,000 – Rs 30,000

Full course (2–4 sessions)

Package pricing after assessment — usually more economical

*Indicative ranges only. Because a course is 2–4 sessions, always compare clinics on total course cost, not per-session price. Ask how many sessions the protocol requires before comparing numbers.

On suspiciously cheap boosters — and counterfeits

Profhilo and Rejuran are premium, patented, imported products with a real and non-negotiable manufacturing cost. A session priced dramatically below the ranges above is a signal, not a saving. Counterfeit and grey-market injectables are a documented and growing problem in this category worldwide, and an unregulated product injected into your dermis is not a cosmetic risk — it is a medical one. At Sarayu we will show you the sealed vial, the batch number and the packaging before anything is drawn up. Ask this of any clinic, anywhere. A clinic confident in what it is injecting will show you without hesitation.

Results Timeline

Timeframe

What usually happens

Day 0

Small bumps at injection points. No ‘result’ yet — anyone promising instant glow is describing swelling.

Day 1–2

Bumps settled. Skin may already feel softer and more supple to the touch.

Week 2–4

First visible change: skin looks brighter, better hydrated, light reflects differently. Second session usually falls here.

Week 6–8

Collagen response begins. Texture refines. Polynucleotide results become clearly visible around now.

Month 3

Peak result for most protocols. Firmness, glow and texture at their best.

Month 6–9

Gradual, even decline. Time for a maintenance session before the result is lost entirely.

The honest framing: skin boosters are not an event treatment. If your wedding is in three weeks, this is not the right choice for you — start a booster course three months before, or choose a treatment with a faster visible effect. We would rather redirect you than take a booking that will disappoint you.

These are complements, not competitors. A HydraFacial cleans and hydrates the surface; a booster hydrates the dermis. Mesotherapy and the vampire facial pair well with boosters. Skin microneedling and Morpheus8 build collagen more aggressively where laxity is the dominant concern. And where the issue is pigment rather than hydration, no booster will help — see pigmentation treatment instead.

Are You a Good Candidate for Skin Boosters?

You are likely well-suited if you have:

  • Skin that looks dull, dehydrated or flat despite good skincare
  • Crepey texture under the eyes, on the neck, décolletage or hands
  • Fine lines caused by dryness rather than muscle movement
  • A wish to improve skin quality without changing your face at all
  • Mild laxity alongside dullness (bio-remodellers specifically)
  • Any Fitzpatrick skin type — boosters carry no pigmentation risk
  • Realistic expectations about timing: weeks, not days

A different plan, or extra caution, applies if you:

  • Have significant sagging or volume loss — you need a lift or a filler, not a booster, and we will say so
  • Have a known fish or shellfish allergy — polynucleotide products are contraindicated; HA boosters are fine
  • Are vegetarian, Jain, or observe dietary or religious restrictions — polynucleotide products are salmon-derived. Tell us, and we will plan around it
  • Have an active skin infection, cold sore or acne flare in the treatment area
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (injectable boosters are deferred)
  • Are immunocompromised, or have a history of autoimmune or keloid tendency
  • Have an event within three weeks — the timing does not work, and we would rather tell you now

Why Choose Sarayu Clinics for Skin Boosters in Delhi ?

Skin boosters look like the simplest injectable there is. That impression is precisely why they are so often used badly — the wrong family for the wrong skin, the wrong depth, or a product whose origin nobody explained. At Sarayu Clinics, boosters are planned and administered by facial plastic and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Adarsh Tripathi, alongside co-founder and celebrity aesthetician Dr. Nidhi Bhatia.

  • We choose the family before the brand. Hydrator, bio-remodeller or regenerator — the mechanism is matched to your skin, not to whatever the clinic has in stock.
  • Full product disclosure, every time. You are told what is being injected, where it comes from, and what is in it — including the salmon origin of polynucleotide products, before treatment rather than after.
  • Surgeon-level anatomical precision. Superficial dermal injection near the eyes and neck is more delicate than it looks. Cannula technique in the under-eye area is used because it is safer, not because it is faster.
  • Verified, sealed, traceable products. You may ask to see the vial, batch number and packaging at any appointment. We will show you without being asked twice.
  • An honest ‘no’ when a booster is the wrong answer. If your concern is volume, laxity or pigment, we will point you to the right treatment rather than sell you this one.
  • Course pricing, transparently. You are told how many sessions your protocol needs before you commit to the first one.

How much does skin booster treatment cost in Delhi?

It depends heavily on the product family. Nutrient cocktail boosters start around Rs 8,000 per session. Hyaluronic acid hydrators such as Restylane Vital or JuvedermVolite run Rs 22,000–45,000. Profhilo is Rs 30,000–55,000 per session, and polynucleotide boosters such as Rejuran Rs 25,000–50,000. Because a course is two to four sessions, always compare clinics on total course cost rather than the headline per-session price.

A dermal filler adds volume and changes facial shape — cheeks, lips, jawline — and is placed deep, with an immediate visible result. A skin booster changes skin quality — hydration, texture, elasticity, glow — is placed superficially in the dermis, adds no volume, alters nothing about your shape, and builds over weeks. They solve completely different problems and are often used together.

There is no single best, because the three families do different jobs. If your skin is dull and dehydrated, a hyaluronic acid hydrator (Restylane Vital, JuvedermVolite) is the right starting point. If you have dullness together with mild laxity, Profhilo — a bio-remodeller — adds a firming effect. If your concern is texture, fine lines or early acne scarring, a polynucleotide regenerator such as Rejuran is the strongest option. The choice should follow a skin assessment, not a price list.

Yes. Rejuran and most polynucleotide or PDRN boosters use polynucleotides extracted and highly purified from salmon sperm DNA, chosen because its molecular structure closely resembles human DNA. This is material information for patients who are vegetarian, Jain, or observe dietary or religious restrictions, and it is a firm contraindication for anyone with a fish or shellfish allergy. We disclose product origin before treatment. Hyaluronic acid boosters, which are synthesised by bacterial fermentation, are an effective alternative.

No, though it is sometimes listed as one, including by clinics in Delhi. Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid — a volumising collagen biostimulator. It is placed deep, builds volume over several months, and changes your facial contour. Skin boosters are placed superficially and change skin quality without altering shape. If you asked for a booster and were offered Sculptra, you were offered a different category of treatment.

Profhilo is typically two sessions four weeks apart. Hyaluronic acid hydrators usually need two to three sessions three to four weeks apart. Polynucleotide boosters generally require three to four sessions. All of them benefit from a maintenance session every six to nine months, because the effect fades as the product is naturally metabolised.

Mildly. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and most patients describe small stings rather than pain. It is worth knowing that several boosters do not contain built-in lidocaine, unlike most dermal fillers, so the numbing step matters more here. The under-eye area is the most sensitive; a cannula is often used there for both comfort and safety.

Are skin boosters safe for Indian skin?

Yes, and unusually so. Boosters do not target melanin and do not create the inflammatory heat injury that lasers do, so they carry no meaningful risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in Fitzpatrick IV–V skin. For patients who have had pigmentation problems after laser-based glow treatments, boosters are frequently the safer route to the same goal.

Six to nine months for most products, with the peak result at around three months. This is not permanent, and no clinic should suggest it is. Results are maintained with a single top-up session every six to nine months. Polynucleotide boosters, because they stimulate genuine tissue repair, may leave a slightly more durable improvement in texture.

Only with correct timing. Boosters build over weeks, not days — the first visible change is at two to four weeks and the peak result at around three months. Start a course at least three months before an event. If your event is within three weeks, a booster is the wrong choice and we will recommend something with a faster visible effect rather than take a booking that will disappoint you.
